A note from the studio

Astrology is woven into how a lot of Indian families make decisions — but the apps serving them were a wall of ads, dark patterns and per-minute meters. I wanted a kundli app I'd actually trust my family's birth details to: calm, computed properly, and explained like a friend would, not a sales funnel. Naksha is honest about what it is — a guide for reflection, never a guarantee.

Questions

The honest answers.

Is Naksha free to use?

Yes. Your kundli (D1 Lagna), daily rashifal, full panchang and 36-point kundli milan all work for free — no account needed — along with 1 birth profile and 3 Ask-Panditji questions a day. Pro unlocks the divisional charts, the Vimshottari dasha timeline, muhurat finder, up to 5 profiles and PDF export.

How much is Pro and how does billing work?

Pro is one simple subscription — ₹399/month, a discounted yearly plan, or a one-time lifetime unlock — billed through the App Store or Google Play. There's no per-minute meter like consultation apps, so you can ask and explore as much as you like once you're Pro. Exact prices show in-app for your region.

How is my birth and personal data handled?

Your kundli, panchang, dasha and kundli milan are computed on your device, and your birth profiles are stored locally. Only if you use Ask Panditji, the daily reading or cross-device sync are the relevant birth and chart details sent to our secure backend to generate a response. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's processed and why.

Do I need an account?

No. Kundli, panchang, rashifal and kundli milan all work signed-out. An optional phone-number (OTP) sign-in is only there to sync your profiles, chat history and Pro across devices and to enable daily transit notifications.

Does it work offline, and do you show ads?

Your core charts — kundli, panchang, dasha and kundli milan — work fully offline, and there are no ads and no data sale, ever. Online features like Ask Panditji and daily transit alerts need a connection.

How is this different from AstroTalk or AstroSage?

Naksha isn't a marketplace and isn't ad-cluttered. There's no per-minute astrologer meter and no wall of upsells — just an accurate, properly computed Jyotish chart explained in plain language, with an optional Hinglish Panditji you can ask any time.

When is Ask Panditji available?

The Hinglish Panditji chat (text and voice) appears once the optional secure backend is enabled; until then it's shown as 'coming soon' so you only ever pay for the on-device features that work today — the charts, panchang, dasha, milan, muhurat and export.

Is this professional advice?

No. Naksha offers Vedic astrology for cultural insight and personal reflection — a guide, not a guarantee. It's not a substitute for professional medical, legal, financial or psychological advice.

Launching soon

Be first to know when Naksha ships.

It'll launch at ₹399. Free tier: kundli (d1 lagna), daily rashifal, full panchang and kundli milan — usable without an account; 1 birth profile and 3 ask-panditji questions/day..

One email when it lands on the store. No drip sequence, no spam.

We use your email only to tell you when Naksha launches — we never sell it, and you can unsubscribe anytime. See our Privacy Policy.

No spam. No tracking. Email only — unsubscribe with one click.

Your birth profiles and chart data are stored on your device, and the core astrological calculations (kundli, panchang, dasha, kundli milan) run on-device. Features that use AI — Ask Panditji, the daily reading, voice transcription and daily transit notifications — send the relevant birth and chart details to our backend to generate a response.
